family

I was able to go home to California for my grandma Wilcox's funeral by myself. All of my sibling also came by themselves too. No spouses, kids. Just us. We have not been together like that since my wedding, 14 years ago. I have to say we had so much fun being together. We stayed up late, played games, ate great food and just hung out. In fact Sat. most of us stayed in our pj's and hung out in the back yard enjoying the nice weather and each other. It was wonderful to be able to be at my grandma's funeral and celebrate the life of a wonderful woman.
